MOBB Feature: \pō-‘e-tik\ clothing company

OMGosh! It’s really been a while since we’ve done any MOBB features (Minority Owned Brands & Businesses). So long overdue, this particular brand/business is very close to my heart because of their goal to raise awareness for genetic blood disorders. Even though I am flat broke all the time, I try to support them as often as possible.

We love, love, love supporting businesses and organizations like these so if you have one, know one, love one be sure to tell us all about them so we can spread the word.

Let’s jump right into this feature shall we and who to better tell you about their company than the company themselves.

Here’s a little note from the CEO ;)

Our name (\pō-‘e-tik\) means: Having quality or style characteristic of poetry.  Our main goal is to build social awareness for genetic blood disorders like, sickle cell, tay-sachs, cystic fibrosis, and thalasemia.

We’ve dedicated an entire line to this cause of which proceeds are donated towards finding a viable cure for each condition. Coming from someone that has Sickle Cells, we are more than dedicated to doing all that we can to make this happen. We’ve also contributed both time and financial resources toward several organizations including  QSCAN Sickle Cells Walk, Sickle Cell Thalassemia Patients Networks Walk,  AIDS walk, held annually in Central Park and Autism Speaks walk. We’ve also done public events and shows for different organizations as well.

We work hard at making connections with strong individuals/artists from different genres that will proudly represent and promote  \pō-‘e-tik\ clothing company ® including Karniege; a Brooklyn based Hip-Hop artist (@Karniege), KFHox; a Bronx based Neo-Soul artist (@KFHox),  Jessica Sibelman; a composer / clarinetist for the New York Chamber Virtuosi orchestra, and Nikki Terry; a painter/colorist (@NikkiTerrynt).

You are welcome to help us support our cause by visiting our website and viewing our products. \pō-‘e-tik\ clothing company features clothing, fashion jewelry and beauty products for men, women and children.
